The Graze V.175: Plugged In

Hi Friends:

On Tuesday morning, when I walked into my office, I found my computer unresponsive. The screen was blank, and there were no signs of life. This event forced me to restructure my entire week. I had to make an appointment with a computer technician (in another state!). This required that I reschedule several meetings, and imagine (and worry about) the time and cost of having a working computer again.

As it turned out, the issue was just a bad power cord. I am now plugged in and charged!

This week has been all about reconnecting. I spent some time this week with a friend who is on retreat at Mission Farm. We've had time to catch up, work on a grant together, and enjoy some time on the porch. We talked about what it means to be connected and how we all desire to “plug in” to meaningful action in our community. Such a connection helps us to understand our lives as something larger than ourselves. Perhaps this is similar to what it means to be in the ‘flow'.

We are all part of a great divine river. This river is fueled by gratitude. This great flow of the universe is unending: the movement in and out, of receiving and handing on. Call it consciousness. Call it God. Call it Love. This is the Ground of all Being out of which all things - and especially all good things come.

I am full of gratitude in this river with you,

🌱 💚 Lisa
